I've tried all the fixes. Elder IIIApr 17, DragamApr 18, I was blown away. With TAA on, it was like a layer of blur was removed. Needless to say it ran much worse with huge lags in the menu of seconds. What sites are not banned here for posting full quality PNG files?Which fuse controls power outlet in 2015 jeep grand
New patch today. The slider used to only allow setting between 0. It now has a scale of 0. I think they might have tweaked something with TAA in general as well it looks like it has a bit less ghosting.Cylance api guide
It's not eliminated but it definitely looks cleaner in motion now! No patch notes as of yet so, guess we'll need to wait to see what they mention regarding the TAA.
Here are 3 screenshots with different levels of sharpening applied in game. Sharpening at 1.I'm having a difficult time reviewing Red Dead Redemption 2. Not because I abhor playing it—it's an amazing game in plenty of respects—but because it crashes every 30 to 45 minutes.
My first day with Red Dead 2 went pretty well, so I didn't read too much into reports of performance problems across the internet as indicative of a bad port across the board. But those problems are now dominating the greater conversation online. Some players report hard freezes when arriving at Valentine for the first time.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 3D game!
Audio distorts and crackles on occasion, which happens to me quite often. Others are reporting random crashes like my own, frequent freezes and stuttering, missing textures, and all sorts of minor and terrifying bugs.
Reddit and YouTube tend to amplify the problems of a loud minority on any game's release day, but once my colleagues started chiming in with their own issues, I really started to worry. Harry Shepherd experiences hitches that freeze the action every 30 seconds with an AMD RX and Intel i, both of which meet the minimum system requirements.
Hardware editor Jarred Walton is another victim of frequent hitches. Since he's working on some in-depth benchmarks of RDR2, he's much more savvy to where the problems lie, saying slower CPUs are getting the worst of it right now. With i and the same RTX Ti, I get periodic long pauses—several seconds sometimes, but it's usually just a bit stuttery for a few seconds. In fact, p and minimum quality often seems inexplicably worse than p high or ultra," says Jarred. It's basically unplayable by default.
Red Dead 2 is a gorgeous game with massive draw distances.Red Dead Redemption 2 GTX 1080 OC Single-GPU vs multi-GPU (SLI) FPS \u0026 Frametime
We expect it to tax our hardware, but when performance improves after using an external application that limits the maximum CPU usage a game is allowed, there has to be something else going on. After installing BES and following the instructions in this Reddit threadAndy says the stuttering has completely disappeared, at least in the last 45 minutes of play. If you're running an older CPU, it's definitely worth a shot. It doesn't take elite programming knowledge or extensive hardware know-how to surmise that something in Red Dead 2's code is juicing CPUs too hard, failing to distribute the processing workload across the cores, or doesn't have the right checks in place to properly limit processes according to whatever CPU is in use.
I imagine it like giving a horse too many apples. A horse is going to keep eating apples if presented them, I know this. And the horse is going to feel energized by the apples and run at a smooth and efficient horse-frames per second, up until the moment its tummy reaches max apple capacity at which point the horse stops, or stutters, in order to vomit up some apples to make room for more apples. A CPU suddenly given too many chunky calculations might choke in a similar way, exhibited by intermittent hitching in-game.
Older, slower CPUs horses, if you're still stuck on the analogy will hit that processing limit faster than slicker CPUs, and likely experience more abrupt, longer hitches. It probably explains why when I've seen stuttering on my iK it was barely noticeable and very infrequent.
I'm just spitting theory, of course. We'll likely know the whole story in due time.
While we expect smoother launches, especially from established developers like Rockstar, the studio is already making improvements. An update went out this morning that addresses crashes related to anti-virus software and another just now addressing launcher errors for some players with AMD processors.IN 3D Vision.

Waiting on a bit more info in general. Showing 1 - 7 of 7 comments. Under 2 percent of gamers use sli they arent going to implement it. Sli only works with vulkan and still produces unbearable flickering when using TAA.
Without TAA the game looks worse then first rdr. The fps gain is good but not as good as gta5, the frame times are bad but very playable. I m not expecting the latter Edit : BTW the mixed results on the evga forums are because some fools just lie or run the game for 10 seconds without flicker and think they fixed it. Nobody with sli can play this game with TAA and not suffer the flickering.

However, this is dependant on game developers taking advantage of this new technology.
As we saw with SLI, that may not happen. As for SLI, if Nvidia and games developers do push for NVLink compatibility, it could be the final nail in the coffin for the older tech. Perhaps the biggest limiting factor was the law of diminishing returns, which multi-GPU systems encounter. It gets even worse if you add a third or fourth GPU — as the performance increase gets smaller each time.
It ends up being a very costly way to get a bump in performance. As many PC gamers realised, a far more reliable and affordable way to get a boost in performance is to buy a single more powerful GPU, rather than two or more less powerful cards. Running more graphics cards ups the power consumption of your PC increasing electricity bills and also produces more heat — leading to a noisier PC. One of the biggest complaints about multi-GPU setups is that support for them — both in games and with drivers — is pretty spotty.
Many people running SLI or CrossFire would find that some games simply ignore the extra GPUs, leading to them not benefitting from the extra graphical firepower they paid for. Even worse, some games would encounter problems with multi-GPU setups, leading to a degradation in performance. This led to more gamers abandoning multi-GPU setups, making game developers even less likely to implement multi-GPU support. And so on and so on. Especially at the top end, a single modern graphics card can easily handle almost any game at full graphical settings at p resolution — which remains the most popular resolution.

These are the best single graphics cards you can buy in See more Graphics cards news.As you can see below, both the minimum and recommended requirements are both surprisingly manageable. However, on the day Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on PC, Nvidia struck fear into the hearts of all and sundry by publishing their own list of recommended graphics cards for hitting that all important frame rate figure of 60fps.
And to make matters worse, there are 21 of them. Plus, each preset will give you completely different results based on what graphics card you have in your PC. When I turned the settings right down on my RTX Ti, for example, Texture Quality was automatically set to High, even though the rest of the graphics settings were a mix of Low and Medium. More madness. This is what the game looks like on completely maxed out settings click to enlarge.
With these settings, my GTX managed an average of 56fpswhich is a lot better than I was expecting given the large jump in Texture Quality.
The above preset is still a decent mix of Low and Medium settings, however, which may not be quite to your liking. The next Balanced preset rectifies that with a greater emphasis on Medium settings while still keeping that Ultra-fied Texture Qualityand also introduces High Shadow Quality and x4 Anisotropic Filtering as opposed to x2. This started to take its toll on my GTXwhich only managed an average of 49fps with these settings, but it still looked nice and smooth in the benchmark and was more than playable in-game.
To help push that number back up a bit, turn Shadow Quality back down to Medium and turn Anisotropic Filtering back down to x2. Perhaps more surprising was what little difference the Texture Quality makes. These are locked by default and change automatically depending on what quality preset you decide to settle on, but you can easily unlock them so you can change them manually. The regular GTX and older GTX need a teensy bit of tweaking before they can hit that kind of speed, but all it takes is a couple of settings tweaks and you can enjoy largely High settings on those cards at p without compromising on frame rate.

At x even entry-level to mainstream graphics cards achieve very good frame-rates at the best possible settings. Visually there is little difference in-between the normal to the most complex mode settings. Let's start off with Full HD test the graphics cards based on the quality settings we've shown you. Please make note of the fact that the Nano and Fury cards had lower quality enabled due to a 4GB graphics memory cap.
The results are not the internal benchmark which is painstakingly buggy once you switch a resolution at day-1 of release but also incredibly long to run, this is real gameplay at Chapter one, Colter. On a horse, in the snow and storm. Hi-Hoo Hilbert, yee-haw! Obviously that get's worse with even higher resolution. So going all in 'Ultra' quality with the game hardly is an option for many.
Below you can see some tweaked changes:. Here's what we did, basically you shift that quality preset to level to the max. Then by dropping all Ultra selected quality settings towards high, you'll gain performance. We feel that forfeiting Ultra texture quality would be a darn loss, so we left that setting as is. The result is Ultra textures quality, the rest is set as shown above. By no means, this is 'the tweak' as that will vary per PC, but it'll help you get some extra playable performance out of the game.
Again, the 4GB cards have medium texture quality due to graphics memory limitations. Have a peek.Wesco bank lotto 2015 results
As it turns out in the CPU bound resolutions and the fastest graphics cards, you will see a tiny bit of a performance increase. For the rest of the cards, it is more or less equal. Article - Guide - Review What's the game about?
